Turmeric Chai Latte

This golden elixir combines the earthy warmth of turmeric with bold chai flavors, cinnamon, ginger, and a hint of black pepper, all balanced with your choice of milk. Cooking Time: 10 minutes

ingredients

  • 3 tbsp powdered turmeric powder (preferably organic)

  • 2 1/2 - 3 tsp ground cardamom

  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp saffron (optional)

  • 1 1/2 cup non dairy milk, divided

  • 1 tbsp raw honey, wildflower, or Manuka (sweetener of choice)

Instructions

  1. Bring 1 1/2 cups of water to boil in a saucepan with turmeric powder

  2. Once the water is boiling, lower the heat for 3-4 minutes and add remaining spices

  3. Add milk and sugar, mix it well and brew for another 3 minutes

  4. Switch off the heat as the tea should now be perfect

  5. Strain into cups and enjoy!
